This unofficial site is a resource for AFM members to learn about recent news, proposals, commentary, and the organizational structure of the American Federation of Musicians.

There won't be any information here until someone contributes it. Everybody is encouraged to contribute; you may post anonymously if need be. If link leads to a blank page, please fill in what you know by clicking on "edit", or posit a question. Use the Help:Contents section to find out how to contribute.

If your posts are not in the appropriate place, they probably will be moved. For instance, if you post an opinion about a proposal, it would go under "discussion", not the article itself.

I'm glad to see that many people are using the site, but many people are adding/removing names that are obviously not theirs. You can see the changes by clicking on "history".

If anyone posts something (or wants to post something) as a document that should not be altered, let me know, I can preserve it. -Matt ( oscmatt at boulderjazz dot org )
